Start with the evidence

Opossum removal starts with the facts.

01

Locate the occupied area

We inspect accessible attic, roofline, foundation, and other sheltered areas relevant to the evidence. The written scope identifies what can be reached and repaired safely.

02

Confirm that the space is occupied

An opossum passing through a yard does not establish that it is living inside the home. We connect sightings and reported sounds with structural findings before recommending removal.

03

Document the repair needs

We check for young or additional animals and review the monitored areas before the final seal. Device alerts alone cannot establish that inaccessible spaces are clear.

The Peaceful Home System

Get them out. Keep them out.

We protect the home in the right order: close secondary routes, guide the animal out, then finish the durable repair.

  1. 01

    Find the access

We identify the animal, where it is getting in, and the repairs that will protect the home.

  2. 02

    Seal the secondary routes

We make durable repairs at the other access points while keeping one controlled route for a safe exit.

  3. 03

    Set up the safe exit

When the home and animal call for it, we use a one-way door or live trap with Skyhawk Trapmate sensors to guide removal.

  4. 04

    Follow active removal

Trapmate alerts and physical checks tell us when to return and what needs attention next.

  5. 05

    Confirm the home is clear

We inspect the accessible areas, check the repair work, and verify the removal before closeout.

  6. 06

    Finish the durable repair

We remove temporary equipment, seal the final opening, and leave the home protected for the long haul.

Opossum Removal questions

What happens next.

Is a possum the same service as an opossum?

Yes. Homeowners commonly use “possum” for the opossum. We confirm the animal and where it is accessing or sheltering around the home before selecting a removal plan.

Can you remove an opossum if it is not in the attic?

The inspection determines whether the location is safely accessible and within our scope. Equipment placement is adapted to the actual shelter and entry route.

Why are there two exclusion stages?

The first stage closes secondary openings and leaves a controlled exit for removal. The second stage closes that final exit after field checks and monitoring support closeout.

What does Trapmate monitoring add?

Trapmate alerts help us prioritize the next field visit when a deployed device reports activity. They guide timing, but final clearance still requires an in-person inspection and verification.

How long can protection last?

After the repair work is complete, renewable quarterly or annual protection can keep the home covered with periodic inspections and moderate touch-up work for up to 10+ years.

How do I schedule an inspection?

Use the inspection form below. Share the location, sounds, sightings, and any entry damage you have noticed so we can follow up about an inspection.
